Boys Bombers Basketball Take Down the Flyers

The Boys Varsity basketball team competed against the Lindbergh Flyers on Thursday, February 27. Some highlights of the game include senior DJ Johnson’s lockdown defense in the final seconds of the first half, causing the Flyers to lose possession. This allowed junior Sheek Pearson to drive down the court for a slam dunk.

To start the second half, senior Max Steinbach had an incredible pass to Sheek Pearson for an alley-oop, knocking Flyers player Aiden Knuckles to the ground.

The top three scorers of the game were Sheek Pearson with 26 points, junior Tristan Reed with 15 points, and senior Owen Walther with 11 points. These upperclassmen helped lead the Bombers to a 71-56 victory!

Their next game is on Wednesday, March 5, against Parkway Central at 8:30 PM at Westminster. Good luck to the team and hope to see a lot of fans there. Go Bombers!
